AESPump
(Patent Pending)

AESPump*

The heart of the AESFill system is the unique sanitary AESPump* which can be taken completely apart for cleaning.  The AESPump* snaps on and off the machine very easily to "raise the bar" for CGMP design

The AESPump* is contained within a solid 316 type stainless steel seamless ‘vault’ that features a Tri-clover clamp at one end.  It is mounted at an angle to facilitate a smooth fluid path.

The AESPump* can rotate 360 degrees in order to easily accommodate any required hose configuration.  The AESPump* can be equipped with Tri-clover clamps so that hoppers may be attached in order to pump creams and pastes.

The gear drive uses a unique hexagonal drive shaft to solidly key the shaft to the gear.

The AESPump* comes completely apart by  removing a single industry standard Tri-Clover clamp.  The drive and idler shaft bushings can be easily removed for sterilization.

The drive of the AESFill AF1 is an AC Inverter system with an exclusive frequency speed control; no brushes to wear out!  The machine is readily convertible from 110/60/1 to 220/50-60/1.

The standard product contact parts of the AESFill AF1 are 316 stainless steel, tygon hosing, Teflon gears and bunaN seals (other materials are available on request).  The general construction of material of the AESFill AF1 is 316 stainless steel or anodized aluminum.

Sanitary Pump Uses

The AESPump* is a precision sanitary pharmaceutical grade pump that can be totally disassembled for cleaning and sterilization.

It can be used as part of the batching or transfer system when connected to its drive system. The standard line drive unit can be addressable through an RS232 interface so that it can be utilized to meter or dispense an exact amount of liquid. Each dispense can be the same or can be varied every time.

Multiple pumps and multiple drive systems can be mounted together in a panel or in a cart so that multiple liquids can be metered or dispensed (particularly useful in batching systems).

For example, in a particular batch of varying quantities of 4 liquids, the system (if 4 units were
purchased) can dispense varying amounts of the 4 liquids depending upon the recipe that was downloaded. The next batch could be identical to the previous one or the recipes can be varied.

Systems up to 12 pumps can be handled as standard, and beyond 12 pumps can be handled as a special.

The standard AESPump* delivers up to 12 liters per minute, but larger pumps are available to special order.

The pump and product contact parts can be readily removed from the drive system with a simple sanitary clamp connection, and can be completely disassembled for cleaning.

As standalone units the AESPump* with its drive can be utilized on a cart, for example, pumping liquids into a granulator, or into a coating pan. As the drive system is programmable the liquids can be dispensed at varying times, at varying speeds, and at varying profiles depending upon the need. The recipe can be saved in a PLC or other controller, and as the pump is continuously addressable the parameters can be varied according to the need of the particular cycle.
