Powder /
Auger Fillers
|
| |
|
Can you
believe the speeds listed above?
Not many people can.
We were given the task to develop single head auger
fillers that can run at speeds in excess of 180/minute.
In fact we have tested a single head filler with speeds
in excess of 200/minute, but we are being conservative
in our claims!
How do we do it? Solid engineering and very clever
indexing systems. We have even put two auger fillers on
a twin conveyor and achieve speeds approaching
400/minute on “plastic spice jar” containers.

On our www.aesus.com/Downloads.htm page you can see
videos of this in action. The only problem is the
cameras are almost not quick enough to be able to
capture the speeds.
We may be a little more expensive than your average
standard powder filler, but price for speed we are
definitely the most competitive. If you need a powder
filler that goes above 100/minute without complex of
rotary funnel indexing systems then you've come to the
right place.
However if you need lower speeds but with the potential
for upgrading it to the high speed we have an option to
save you a little money in the initial outlay but have
the convenience of being able to upgrade.

Note the Clean GMP design
with the standard motorized Up / Down lift – lower.
|
|
The standard “optimum” level sensor capable of
detecting dense free flowing products like salt based spices to light aerated
products such as parsley. This
sensor is usually connected to an automatic feeding device to maintain a
constant level in the hopper to ensure the highest accuracies.

This
simple Control Panel interface that comes as a standard with an Auger Filler.
The
interface enables operator to save up to 100 recipes in its memory including the
desired fill speed to eliminate the need to change speed via belts & pulleys
like most fillers in the marketplace.
Motorized Up/Down is adjusted from the control panel and even conveyors
can be integrated and operated from the machine’s interface.
Plus
much, much more.
Many
options are available with our Powder fillers, for example
with certain dusty difficult products it is useful to dive
into the containers, and shut off cleanly.
|
|
UMHW nozzle spout of varying diameters are available for
different bottle (neck) openings. |
 |
As bottles are indexed into the “fill position”, the PLC
sends a signal for the nozzle assembly to dive and enter the bottle’s neck
opening. Once fill is complete, the
diving nozzle assembly retracts. |
| |
Synchronized with the movement
of the diving nozzle assembly, the shut-off nozzle slides down the tapered
nozzle thus eliminating, “Powder Drippage!” |
|
Our
options are too numerous (and boring) to mention here, but if
you have difficult or different products, give us a call, or
send us an email and we would be happy to find a solution
among these many options.
